Caribbean Education and Culture Foundation ( CECF ) is working in Caribbean Islands and established in St. Maarten in 2017. Our institution is providing wide range of activities for young people in Caribbean and Europe to promote volunteering, intercultural dialogue and non-formal education opportunities.
Caribbean Education and Culture Foundation involve and implement actions in order to :
- Contributing to the social life through the participation of Caribbean young and foreign volunteers to activities and projects of general interest;
- Transferring working good practices on the fields of regional development, education, minority policies, environmental policies, nature protection, economic development program, culture-arts, health, sport
- Implementing educational projects aiming at promoting active citizenship among people for an inclusive and participatory, democratic and sustainable society;
- Encouraging the mobility of people and ideas through international exchanges for the purpose of knowledge, mutual understanding and peace;
- Contributing to the integration of the different communities living in otherwise regions, especially in the Caribbean area characterized by deep social and cultural differences;
- Increasing the active participation of youth, the intercultural exchanges, youth mobility in order to enable young people to fully play their role of active citizens, responsible and critical towards the society.
